I found a great tutorial on the blog 'From An Igloo' for this dinosaur beanie. I had to change the sizing, but it was a great pattern to work from and it turned out terrific! It is fleese inside and out so it's really warm and comfortable for him to wear.
I'm glad I found something to sew for him...I did try a singlet a few months ago, but my husband thought it was too 'metro-sexual' (to put it politely) for him to wear.
I also thought I would make a beanie for my daughter too. Unfortunately it turned out tiny - I don't know where I went wrong because I thought I measured her head...obviously wrong :) I'll pass it onto the next baby girl that comes along, it's too cute to go to waste. For now it is being modelled by one of her teddies.
There is also a super easy mitten tutorial too so I'm going to give that a go in the next few days. They will come in handy for our family holiday down south next weekend. I think it is going to be fairly cold and my husband wants to take my son out on the boat fishing. Hopefully the beanie doesn't scare away the fish, hahaha :)
